I've used NuTru O-Mega-Zen3+EPA for more than 3 years. Tried more than half a dozen others, but this is my favorite. It is extracted from plant sources - it's Vegan, not simply vegetarian. I need the DHA and EPA. It works for me. Cardiologist told me to go on a strict lifestyle regimen because I'm severely allergic to statins and other heart meds - no meat, fish, poultry, dairy, oil or nuts (see Esselstyne's Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease). Dietary protocol works incredibly well (LDLs 80 or less), but my triglycerides went over 300. NuTru is vegan and allows me to take a measured amount of vegan oil to keep triglycerides between 100 and 102, and maintain my target cholesterol level (I take more than one capsule). I don't take any prescriptions. So, it works for me. Give it at least 60 days and adjust after a blood test if you're taking this or a similar product to help control cholesterol or triglycerides.

OmegaZen3 + EPA from NuTru is an All Natural and Vegan Supplement! It is a daily does of the Omega 3 your body needs, but without the possible harm of mercury from fish! Other brands of Omega 3 supplements may have harmful amounts of mercury in their products, but this one from NuTru is 100% safe and fish free! OmegaZen3 + EPA is actually derived from Marine Micro-Algae Sources! This Supplement does not contain any Preservatives, Artificial Colors or Flavors, Gluten, Dairy, yeast OR Wheat! This product does not have, or is made, with any animal products! The ingredients are: 200 MG of DHA, 100 MG of EPA, Carrageenan (Seaweed) Softgels, NON-GMO Startch, Glycerin, purified water, and maltitol! Yep, that is it! WOW! You can never find an ingredient list that small anywhere, and knowing this product is vegan and free from harmful components, makes me choose this supplement over others! This product contains highly concentrated forms of Omega 3 and EPA which means it has twice the active ingredients! This supplement only needs to be taken once a day with a meal! Also, I have been losing weight slowly but surely, and I think that OmegaZen3 + EPA is playing a part in it! I would just love to finish losing all of this leftover baby weight! Omega 3 is also known to help with many health problems such as Arthritis, ADHD, Dementia, Weightloss(as I said above), Cardiovascular health, and many other things! I have Arthritis so I am hoping that this supplement with help with that! Overall, I am quite happy with this supplement! I was taking regular fish oil derived Omega 3 before I started taking this, and well lets just say, I will never go back to that when I can take something completely Vegan and Natural!
