I don't like trying to swallow large tablets
Just wanted to add a photo to give people an idea of the size of the caplets. That's a quarter on the left, and a nickel on the right.I don't like trying to swallow large tablets, but I can manage 2 of these at once. Because they are capsules, and very light weight, they seem to float to the back of my throat.I feel like I've had problems adding calcium in the past, particularly fortified orange juice. So I'm following advice I found on the National Osteoporosis Foundation website [nof.org/patients/treatment/calciumvitamin-d] about ramping up the dosage gradually. I'm glad it requires 4 of these to get a full dose, both for the ramping up purpose, and so that when I have more calcium in my food, I can take fewer of these.Now, if only Amazon would put these on Subscribe and Save...
